I'm in Maine for the summer. Just attended Jessies graduation this afternoon. She was one of the three valedictorians- along with Maria NeCastro and Fayranne Lipton- and of course I couldn't have been a prouder grandmother. Being in Maine, I'm kind of at sixes and sevens, if you know what I mean. (You don't?) I usually have this terrible need to keep busy, busy, busy. I'm trying to be more peaceful, not feeling empty when I have nothing special to do. Maybe this will be a good way to do it.
Well, I plan to keep working on this. Stay tuned.
I hadn't entirely kept up with your blog, but just read the entire thing backwards. It's quite enjoyable and I see that despite my lack of help in the blog-creation process, you've made great progress! Although I myself am one of the people addressed in your cell phone poem, I think it's great advice for us all (especially me) and Mom should definitely give it a proud place on her new office wall! I love you. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Jessie. I think I'll make a copy for your Mom. I love you too, and hope you're having a wonderful time at Colby.
