Beautiful kids. Give Ope and Erin my love and tell them if they ever come to Maine they are welcome to stay at our place.
Also enjoyed your pictures of the chalk drawings and Cara with her pickles.... Raye's mustard started out small and look at them now. She may have to give up her job and become the new "Pickle Queen".
I'm not a pet person. That seems like a terrible thing to say, now a days. I like cats and dogs, but don't want to live with them.
I'm a retired nurse practitioner. I'm very lucky (knock wood) to be in good health. The freedom in my life at this point is a very positive thing. To come and go as I please and know I always have family and friends I can stay in touch with, to keep me grounded, is a blessing.
Speaking of blessings, I'm not religious in most ways, but I am a Unitarian Universalist, a wonderful religion which says it's OK to think about God, spirituality, or what ever you see as the life force , and change your mind about it. It's called thinking and we like it. So finding another UU can be a way for me to find a friend.
